Franco Frattini announces zero tolerance for Romanians committing crimes in Italy
Zero tolerance for Romanians committing crimes in Italy and the creation of mixed Romanian-Italian police patrols – this is what European Commissioner Franco Frattini proposes for the electoral campaign as polls approach in Italy, daily Il Tempo reports.

Frattini underlined the importance of the fight against criminality rate and against terrorism.
Justice and Interior Affairs European Commissioner Frattini has taken one month off his European duties in order to support Silvio Belusconi in his electoral campaign. The Italian press argues that should Berlusconi win the elections Frattini would be appointed Interior minister.
