Romanian counties Harghita, Covasna and Mures are independently attending, under the name Hungarian region, the Budapest Tourism Fair
Romanian counties Harghita, Covasna and Mures will attend under the name of Hungarian Region at the Budapest Tourism Fair, Hungexpo, where they will be separate of Romania. Harghita will be represented in Romania’s exhibition with some promotional materials.
Tourism can relaunch the economic development of the three counties, which is why we consider these exhibitions important, Harghita County Council President Borboly Csaba declared, quoted by Agerpres.
It is important to have an independent presentation of the Hungarian county because the region has a similar cultural and historical heritage which we can promote for tourism. Csaba announced that last year, the exhibition was very successful in Bucharest which is why they want to do the same in bUDAPEST.
The County’s Council plans to set up videos across the counties for tourists to be able to check online the weather or the area.
