Dacia sent 85% of its last year's production to export

Dacia sales increased by 21% last year globally, to over 311.000 units compared to 2008 and 85% of the cars were sent to exports, especially in Western Europe and Algeria, the company announced. In the country, Dacia sales decreased to almost half, to 42,000 units, with a 29% of the share market.

Dacia sold last year over 311,000 cars, a 21% increase compared to 2008. About 270,000 cars went to export, of which 200,000 to Western Europe. Germany was the best market, with about 85,000 units while France registered 65,000 units.
