Chisinau: Filat Government received the Parliament's vote
The new Government in Chisinau, headed by Liberal-democratic Party leader Vlad Filat, received the Parliament’s investment vote on Friday. According to Unimedia, the new Executive was voted by 53 deputies, one vote above the necessary and in the applause of the Alliance for European Integration members. On the other hand, the communist deputies protested against the new Cabinet’s investment.
The Parliament’s session started at 9:45 a.m. The Flat Cabinet needed 52 votes. The Alliance for European Integration holds 53 of the 101 parliamentary mandates. The Filat Government presented the plenary its activity programme, entitled „European Integration: Freedom, Democracy, Wellbeing”, stireazilei.md reads.
The governance programme is based on five priorities: European integration, the country’s reintegration, law supremacy, getting the country out of the economic-financial crisis and securing inclusive economic growth, power decentralisation and local autonomy.
