Angelo Petroni, Aspen Institute: In Romania, the problem of investors is the lack of qualified labour force
Aspen Institute CEO and President Walter Isaacson, former CNN CEO declared that Romania is a strategic place for investments due to advantages such as its location, labour force and the fact that it is a EU member state. On the other hand, Isaacson underlined the various complaints put forward by foreign investors in Romania: one of the main complaints relates to the lack of qualified personnel. The declarations were initiated at the seminar set up by the Aspen Institute.
When prompted by Hotnews.ro about the upcoming economic evolution, Isaacson declared that the world economy will recover steadily but financial institutions are stronger than expected and the recovery is sustainable in regions like Europe or India.
Aspen Institute France representative declared, on the one hand that France and Germany are currently recovery and Italy shoots positive signs but the question is how will the EU react to facilitate the recovery.
