Exchange rate: the leu depreciates to 4.1923 lei/euro 

Romanian Central Bank (BNR) listed a reference exchange rate of 4.1923lei/euro on Friday, following the regional currencies’ general trends of depreciating against the euro.

BNR listed an exchange rate of 4.1891 lei/euro on Tuesday, which showed an accentuated appreciation in contrast with the leu’s value on Wednesday: 4.1574 lei/euro. The leu exchange rate peaked on January 22, reaching 4.3127 lei/euro.
