Romania's commercial deficit increased by 7.1% in the first ten months to 20.95 billion euro
Romania’s commercial deficit increase in the first ten months of the last year by 7.1% as compared to the similar period in 2007 to 20.95 billion euro. Moreover, the exports dynamic continued to advance the imports according to the Romanian National Statistics Institute. The advance of the exports was 15.9% up to 31.58 billion euro while imports increased by 12.2% to 52.54 billion euro.
In the first months of 2008, the commercial deficit was 19.19 billion euro a 11.22% increase as compared to the similar period, last year.The value of the intra-communitarian goods in the above mentioned period was 22.23 billion euro for exits and 36.14 billion euro for inputs, representing 70.5% of the total exports and 68.9% of the total imports.
