Spain to withdraw free movement restrictions for Romanians and Bulgarians alike
Spanish authorities decided on Friday to withdraw free movement restrictions for the labor force coming from Romania and Bulgaria, a press release of the Foreign Affairs ministry remitted to HotNews.ro informs.
Thus, starting January 1, 2009, Romanians will have to comply with the same work regulations as any other Spanish citizen for a job. Thus, Romania’s Foreign Affairs ministry declared on Friday that it salutes the decision and underlines the great diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Currently, more than 15 countries imposed total or partial restrictions for Romanian and Bulgarian citizens across Europe.
