Former PSD leader Ion Iliescu to advise Social Democrats to choose professionals as part of the new government

Former PSD leader Ion Iliescu declared on Wednesday that the members of the new executive members need to be elected for their integrity and professional experience rather than on political criteria. He added that he would prefer an independent professional rather than an unprofessional member of the party.

Ion Iliescu was present on Wednesday at the Social Democratic Party meeting in the Senate, organized before the official meeting with their coalition partners, the Democrat Liberal Party.

Iliescu declared that he came to the meeting to offer Social Democrats some advices regarding the new government. Iliescu declared that all that matters is for the governmental team to be formed of professionals as their mission is very important.
