Serbia to give up EU for Kosovo

The Serbian Parliament adopted in extended majority a resolution that make Belgrade quit its attempt to join the European Union in case the Western countries recognize the independence of the Kosovo province, AFP informs.

While Albanians in Kosovo, supported by Washington and the most important EU members, threaten to proclaim the independence of their province, Serbian PM Vojislav Kostunica asserted the Serbia rejects once and for all the claim.
