Member of CNSAS accused of collaboration with Securitate
Sergiu Andon, the lawyer of Conservative leader Dan Voiculescu who is currently under the accusations of having collaborated with the former secret communist militia, Securitate, stated for a TV news channel that a member of the CNSAS, the body studying the archives of Securitate, was a collaborator under the code name „Dominic”.
Andon, a Conservative member of the Romanian Parliament, said that his statement was just a warning for “Dominic” of whose identity was kept secret for the moment. Andon tried to convince the audience that this new piece of information had no connection to his client accusations.
