New section opened at Sun Highway, SE Romania

A new, 18 km section of the Sun Highway linking Bucharest with the Black Sea became operational this weekend. The Fetesti-Cernavoda section of the highway was open for traffic on Sunday morning.

Transport minister Radu Berceanu said in a press release that the works at this section of the highway were concluded two days earlier than expected.
