President Basescu demands judges to ignore influence attempts

President Basescu addressed on Friday the new generation of graduates from the National Magistrature Institute. The head of state once again spoke about the problems faced by the Justice system, emphasizing that there are still deficiencies, causing discontent among the populace.

The president insisted on the lack of speed some files see, in some cases the judging being so slow the crime gets prescribed.

Basescu asked the new judges not to allow any influence interfere with their decisions.
