Romania qualifies for World Poker Championship finals

Romania’s poker team made it to the finals of the World Poker Championship in Barcelona, against all initial odds. On Friday night, Romania will face the USA, Canada and Iceland teams, in the game for the 100,000 dollars prize.

Romanian team member Cristian Dragomir declared for Hotnews.ro that Romania starts with the last chance but “we hope to make a good surprise”. The tournament involves some of the best players worldwide, including Greg Raymer (USA), Daniel Negreanu (Romania-origin Canadian) and Katja Thater (Germania).
