Agriculture ended 2007 recording pure loss

Romania Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2007 grew 6%, up to 121.3 billion euro, mainly due to the strong advance in services and construction works, fields which compensated the decline in agriculture, the National Statistics institute informs. The services had the most important contribution – 3.5%, followed by constructions (2.4%) and industry (1.2%), The net taxes mattered for 0.2% of the growth, while the agriculture has a negative contribution of -1.3%.
