Belgium takes further step in endorsing Romania’s EU accession

The Belgian House of Representatives endorsed on Tuesday the Romania and Bulgaria’s accession to the EU treaties, following the ratification of the accords by the Belgian Senate on March 30.

After all the other regional parliaments of Belgium will ratify the EU accession treaty, Belgium will be the 16th state to approve with Romania’s entry into the EU on January 1, 2007.
