Body of Romanian soldier dead in Afghanistan returns home

The body of the Romanian soldier that died on Tuesday in Kandahar in Afghanistan is to be returned home on Thursday. The airship carrying him will be welcomed within a funeral ceremony on the Mihail Kogalniceanu airport in Constanta around 9 o’clock pm.

Three of the four injured in the same mission, with legs wounds and head injuries, were taken to a hospital in Germany, while the fourth’s condition is stable and improving and is being kept under the supervision of the physicians in Kandahar.
