Botosani deputy mayor Catalin Alexa received on Monday a death threat after the city hall decided to euthanized 200 stray dogs, news agency Agerpres reads. In May, 230 stray dogs were euthanized after a vet discovered that all dogs were infected and sick. According to Agerpres, the letter is not signed.
The author reads that the deputy mayor was cursed for the outrageous crimes against the animals. Alexa said he will not submit a complaint to the police he said that he does not pay any attention to the letter. The other deputy mayor Florin Ghiorghita received three threat letters in the last days but he decided to announce the police.
