Calin Popescu Tariceanu: The PSD-PDL governance program condemns Romania to poverty

Romania’s incumbent minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu criticizes on his personal weblog the governance program set up by the Social Democrats and Democrat Liberals. The site reads that there is no longer a single flat tax: those who earn more have higher taxes while those who earn less have lower taxes.

Tariceanu writes that the program represents a step back towards the progressive tax rates and it opens up the door for fiscal evasions, discourages works and companies that wish to invest in Romania.

Tariceanu urges the two parties to withdraw the program and set up a new one, as this one pushes Romania to poverty.
