Chief of Police moves to US

Inspector General of the Romanian Police Dan Valentin Fatuloiu will be named assistant of the Interior Affairs Attache’s office in the USA, an official Interior Ministry press release informs. According to the document, Dan Fatuloiu will be named after the nomination procedures take place properly.

Fatuloiu was chief of the Bucharest Police until 2004, when he was sacked after a public scandal regarding a lottery winner.
