Costel Busuioc, known as the Romanian Pavarotti, manages new win Spanish TV contest
Romanians in Spain watched on Wesnesday another success of Romanian worker Costel Busuioc in the singing contest ‘Los Hijos de Babel’, live on the Spanish national television. Nicknamed ‘Romania’s Pavarotti’ Costel Busuioc got the highest grade in the history of the show and it is the forth time in a row that he manages to win the appreciation of the audiences.
Busuioc has been working on Spanish construction sites for the past couple of years. Romania’s Cultural Minister, Adrian Iorgulescu said that he plans to offer Busuioc a scholarship at Bucharest Music University.
