Dubai Bank cuts transactions to Romania over card scam

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) blocked card transactions in Romania and eight East European countries, after it had fallen victim to an ATM hacking.

The other eight countries affected by the move are Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldavia, Serbia-Montenegro and Slovenia. The hackers are believed to have operated outside the United Arab Emirates, according the Sofia News Agency.
