Dutch MEP Geert Wilders: Romania and Bulgaria should be excluded from the EU
Dutch European Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, one of the founders of the Liberty Party, of extreme right, thinks that Romania and Bulgaria should be excluded from the EU due to high corruption and irregularities which make them unsuitable as members of the EU, Euronews informs.
When prompted about Ukraine, Wilders declared that no other country should join the EU and emphasized that Romania and Bulgaria should be excluded. In the Dutch Parliament, he explained, that his party voted against Romania and Bulgaria.
Wilders said that the Netherlands should remain independent and its cooperation with other states should be strictly economical. Wilders’ party obtained, in the last European elections, over 16% of the cast votes.
