Euro reached its highest level in history as compared to the national currency, of 4.2127 Ron

Romania’s National Central Bank published on Friday a reference exchange rate of 4.2127 Ron for 1 euro, thus marking the highest level ever reached by euro compared to the national currency. On Thursday, a euro was quoted by the central bank at 4.1385 Ron.

As compared to the American dollar, the reference rate published by the central bank showed a depreciation of the Romanian Ron from 3.0468 Ron to 3.0729 Ron.
