Ferrari opens branch in Romania

President of AutoItalia car dealer, Herbert Stein, declared on Wednesday for the daily newspaper Business Standard that his company will open the first Ferrari show-room in Romania, even estimating some five units sold per year.

His statement was refuted on Friday by the Ferrari press office, the company being currently represented in Romania by Forza Rossa.

“Ferrari already chose the representing company and it will be Forza Rossa. The opening date remains unchanged – 2007. The statements made by Herbert Stein are completely untrue”, the Ferrari press release reads.

Valeriu Tones, PR manager at AutoItalia declared for Hotnews.ro that it was all about a miscommunication, but failed to offer any further details.
