Flood threat due to rising temperature

The hot weather during the following days may cause a sudden snow melt and river flow growth, the National „Romanian Waters” Administration (ANAR) warns. The hydro stations all around the country are in a state of alert, intensifying measurements and observations.

The North-West of the country will be crossed by a series of air currents accompanied by hot air and stronger winds.

Partial snow melt is expected where existing.
