Former president Iliescu turns 79. Youngsters in the street: May he live long, to pay for the deaths of the Revolution

The birthday party of former Romania president Ion Iliescu is rather unusual this year, Realitatea TV reports. Several youngsters wearing „skull’n’bones” t-shirts gathered in front of the Social-Democrat headquarters in Bucharest, wishing him: „Happy birthday. May he live a long life, long enough to get to pay for the lives lost in the 1989 Revolution”. Gendarmes arrived at the scene, to make sure things will not degenerate.
