French Ambassador Henri Paul: France will not oppose Romania's joining Schengen, but an EC positive report is necessary 

French Ambassador to Romania, Henri Paul, declared on Tuesday that France does not oppose Romania’s joining Schengen, but for this objective, Romania needs an optimistic, more positive EC report on judice and the agreement of all EU member states.

The French Ambassador said that France’s opposition was a misunderstanding, a false. The Ambassador said that an unanimity vote from all member states is needed for Romania to join Schengen and currently, this does not exist.
