General strike at Arcelor Mittal Galati suspended in court. Union prepares for protest march

The Galati Appeal court decided on Tuesday night to suspend the general strike opened by union workers at the Arcelor Mittal steel plant and will decide today whether the strike is legal or not. For the moment, the strike was suspended only considering that the threat of accidents is rising to an alarming level in case the workers do not return to their jobs. The „Solidaritatea” union announced a protest march for Wednesday, at 14:00h, on the plant platform.
