Georgia Opposition leader launches civilian insubordination action
One of the political leaders of the Georgian Opposition, Levan Gachechiladze, announced on Friday the launching of a civilian insubordination movement, calling for road blocks throughout the country, Ria Novosti and Reuters inform. The announcement comes shortly after president Mikhail Saakasvili declared that he has no intention to resign. Some 20,000 people currently participate in a protest in front of the Georgian Parliament.
