Heavy storm hits Bucharest: airplane goes off-lane on Henri Coanda international airport

A Carpatair airplane deviated from its designated lane as a rain storm hit the Romanian capital city on Tuesday afternoon. No victims were reported, but the plane suffered serious damages. The plane, with some 50 passengers on board, had just landed from Timisoara, Western Romania.

On Tuesday, a heavy storm hit Bucharest and blocked the traffic in important downtown areas. Bad weather also affected several other counties and caused damages in some rural areas.
