IMF will revise the GDP drop estimate / EBRD estimate of -3% is pessimistic 

IMF will revise the GDP drop estimate for this year of 0.5%, IMF Romania chief of mission Jeffrey Franks declared on Monday who considers that the EBRD estimate of -3% for GDP drop is pessimistic, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs.

He noted that Romania registered an important progress in the last period after a meeting he had with Central Bank governor Mugur Isarescu. An IMF mission arrived in Bucharest today until August 4th to end the fifth evaluation of the agreement.
