Influential political scientist Stanislaw Belkovsky: Moldova begun the process of unification with Romania

The president of the Moscow Institute for National Strategy, the influential political scientist Stanislaw Belkovsky, supports the idea that the protests in Chisinau are nothing but the beginning of a new era in this country’s history – the beginning of the movement of unify with Romania. Belkovsky is the author of an older plan that suggested a step-by-step unification between Romania and Moldova, with only one clause – to recognize the independence of the self-proclaimed Transdniester Republic.

Belkovsky is also the author of the renowned work „The State and the oligarchs”, a book that led to the campaign against billionaire Mikhail Khodorkovsky and his company, Yukos.
