Investigation on Teoctist’s death. Medical malpractice suspected

The personal doctor of Patriarch Teoctist blames the doctors who performed the prostate surgery of malpractice. Dr. Nicolae Ursea believes the general anesthesia wasn’t required, simply because the prostate intervention was not necessary. Ursea says that the Patriarch suffered only from an urinary infection.
However, same Ursea and also other doctors claim that the general procedure for operating under anesthesia a 92-year old were not respected, the 1 to 7 days of pre-op preparations being avoided.
A commission has been formed in the Doctors’ College, in order to investigate the actions took by dr. Ionel Sinescu, the doctor who performed the surgery.
