Ion Oncescu – world ambidextrous skandenberg champion

Romanian Ion Oncescu won the world skandenberg championship, the 100 kg category after winning the world left hand championship on Saturday and the right hand championship on Sunday. Oncescu received, last year, the world championship title at the 90 kg category and this year, he became the first sportsman to obtain the title two years in a row.

Romania’s Skandenberg Federation President Cristian Dulgheru declared, quoted by Prosport.ro, that Oncescu managed to beat opponents in a second and some of them even requested medical care.

The doctor of the competition declared that his intervention was requested even more than at hockey matches.
