Italians in a nervous breakdown: they plan to change regulations for Euro 2012 if Romania wins over Netherlands

World champions seem to have no limit whatsoever. Italian President Giancarlo Abete announced that if Netherlands will let Romania win, he will demand, together with his French counterpart to change the competition’s regulations for Euro 2012.

Abete declared that the proposed changes will be closer to the ones used for Champions League with direct eliminations. He added that it is outrageous that a team should be disqualified while an already qualified team allows others to win since their qualification is assured.
