Kelemen Hunor: UDMR does not wish to exit the governing coalition but it is not up to us/ Political sources: UDRM will propose to postpone talks on territorial reorganization at the Tuesday talks at Cotroceni
I am convinced that nobody wants us to exit the governing coalition and I am convinced that everybody wants political stability in the coalition and government and nobody is interested to have political instability, Hungarian Democrats leader Kelemen Hunor said when prompted whether he considers the possibility for his party to leave the coalition due to the recent problems on the territorial reorganization project.
He said that UDMR does not want to exit the coalition and added that UDMR did not encourage people to protest. On the other hand, sources within UDMR quoted by Agerpres claim that the Union will propose, on Tuesday when talks with the President will be held to postpone talks on the country’s territorial reorganization until a compromise is reached. According to quoted sources, UDRM considers the territorial reorganization necessary but the subject should be postponed until a compromise in the coalition is reached.
