KPMG report: Trust in Romania business future going down among foreign investors
Foreign investors active on the Romanian market are getting less trustful in a positive evolution of their financial situation and economic activities, according to a study by consulting company KPMG shows. One year in the European Union and foreign investors think twice before investing on the market. Only some 40% foreign company representatives expect the market to improve in the first quarter of the year as compared to last year’s 60%.
Regarding investments, KMPG barometer shows that investors are still prudent. KPMG questions some 100 international companies active on the Romania market, most of which KPMG clients.
The barometer’s main purpose is to determine the opinions of the investors towards the international climate, both the advantages and disadvantages of operating a business in Romania and their level of optimism regarding the future of their business on the Romanian market.
