Latest partial official results: Oprescu 30.23%, Blaga 27.99%. National turnout 52.15%

Independent Sorin Oprescu is classed first in the electoral competition for Bucharest mayor on Sunday with 30.23% followed by Democrat Liberal (PD-L) candidate Vasile Blaga with 27.99% of the cast votes, Central Electoral Office announced at 6 pm on Monday.

Here are some of the official partial results:

• national level turnout – 52.15%

• for County Councils the Office centralized results from 7.919 constituencies of a total of 16,104 at the national level and the results are:

PD-L – 1,144,000 votes – 28,55%

PSD – 519,841 votes- 27,82%

PNL – 622,220 votes- 16,17%

• for the County Council presidency some 3,577,724 votes were centralized and the results are:

PD-L – 1,012,515 votes – 28,29%

PSD – 1,005,295 votes – 28,11%

PNL – 675.946 votes – 18,89%
