The lowest salaries in the Education system may grow up to 33% this year, in two steps, in April and October, while the wages of medical personnel may increase 7%, at most, governmental sources declared, according to NewsIn.
The 50% increase demanded by teachers – and approved just before the elections by the former Government – has no chance of coming true. Even more, the Education can count only on less than 6% of the GDP.
„Since the Education only managed to spend 3.6 – 3.7% of the GDP last year, we can’t afford to block these funds for Education, during an year of crisis”, the governmental sources said.
