Mihai Tanasescu: no supplementary measures are needed to reach the budgetary deficit target
Romania’s IMF representative, Mihai Tanasescu declared on Monday that an improvement in revenue collection together with the scheduled investment spending and an improvement in EU funds management will determine a -6.8% budgetary deficit, as estimated by the IMF. Tanasescu said that this scenario stands if Romania registers a -1.9% economic decrease in 2010 and if it cuts its private debts to zero.
