Mioveni protest ends after two weeks of general strike

Leoni Mioveni employees, working on the Dacia Automobile platform ended their two weeks general strike after an agreement was reached, NewsIn informs. The 240 employees stopped working on May 5 and demanded increased salaries. Leoni company is not part of Dacia but its employees are part of the Renault’s Dacia Automobile trade union.

Thus, they received a 220 Romanian Ron increase and a significant bonus for January – April. Union deputy head Ion Iordache declared that even though people were not satisfied with the final agreement, they accepted it because given the conditions, it was the best offer.
