New swine flu case in Bucharest
The supervision network for contagious diseases detected a new swine flu case in Bucharest. The patient is a boy who returned from Canada on June 20, together with his family. The boy is currently hospitalised at „Matei Bals Institute” in the capital, with a reasonable health state, according to a report published by the Ministry of Health.
Two of his five family members from Resita have not been infected, according to „Cantacuzino” Institute. The other three are hospitalised in Timisoara, with „Victor Babes” Infectious Diseases Hospital, receiving antiviral treatment.
There are currently 23 AH1N1 infection cases in Romania.
