Oil price drops to 59$

The price for Brent oil dropped to 59 US Dollars on the London stock market, reaching the lowest price since February 22, 2007, AFP informs.

The oil price for deliveries in December reached 58.85 USD around 8:30h, GMT.

The price for light sweet crude oil also dropped 1.24 dollars, down to 62.67 dollars.
