PM Dancila says Romania fares very well in preparation for take over of EU Council Presidency

Romanian PM Viorica Dancila believes Romania fares very well with preparations for the take over of its first term at the Presidency of the EU Council, a government press release says. The statement was made at a reunion regarding the EU Council presidency preparations on Friday.

A schedule of informal reunions due to be organised during Romania’s term in the first half of 2019 and a schedule of actions in advance of the take over were adopted at the reunion.

Romania’s preparations were a topic of hot debate over the past year, as authorities focused less on the issue and more on other domestic political priorities.
