PNL contests the European elections results and refuses to sign the record

National Liberal representative from Romanian Central Electoral Office refuses to sign the judicial record containing the results of June 7 European elections. Marius Balasescu declared on Wednesday that his party would not approve a fraud.

The National Liberal Party representative says that it cannot certify a result achieved through political tourism. According to the standard procedure, PNL’s gesture cannot prevent the validation of the results.

BEC announced on Wednesday the results of the Sunday’s elections and the mandates distribution.
