Republic of Moldova leaders attend a round-table talk with Russian officials: Moldova feels threatened by the anti-missile shield in Romania
The implementation of some elements of the anti missile shield in Romania endangers Republic of Moldova’s national security. The conclusion pertains to Russian and Moldovan specialists who attended on Thursday, at Chisinau, a roundtable talk organized by a Humanitarian foundation of Russian origins, Ria Novosti reads.
Leader of the Moldovan Democrat Party, Marian Lupu declared that the anti missile shield is not a guarantee of political stability in the region. He said that a constructive dialogue needs to be started, to find a solution to the situation.
He underlined that Moldova must be part of all talks on the matter.
