Romania records its 51st swine flu case
Romania recorded its 51st swine flu case. Cantacuzino Institute flu laboratories confirmed the results on Friday. The patient is a 43 year-old man, Spanish citizen, who flew in Romania on July 2.
The man came to „Matei Bals” Institute from Bucharest one week after his arrival, displaying flu symptoms. The patient was hospitalised on Friday, after he was tested positive for swine flu Cantacuzino Institute.
Health authorities are currently leading an epidemiologic investigation to trace any other persons possibly infected with the virus. This is the 51st swine flu case recorded in Romania. There are 14 patients presently hospitalised, after being tested positive for A/H1N1.
