Romania to help Republic of Moldova following floods

The Romanian Government has answered to a call for international help issued by the Republic of Moldova following severe floods affecting the country since the beginning of the month.

Romanian Interior minister Vasile Blaga ordered an emergency mission to Moldova on Friday. Pumps, trucks and inflatable boats as well as sand bags, boots and other materials and supplies were also sent to the Republic of Moldova.
