Romanian conquers virgin peak in Himalayans

Romanian climber Ticu Lacatusu is the first man who ever managed to get on the highest point of the Himalayan Tsartse area – 6,403 meters. Because he was the first, he got to “baptize” it, so the former “Unknown Peak” now bears the name of “Europe Peak”. In his journey, Lacatusu teamed with two German climbers.
